Out of sheer boredom and joblessness (yes, I had a chutti today :P), I pass on this message to PG (and to some random creatures whose numbers my phonebook still remembers :P), "When girls get jealous, it's kinda normal! But, when guys get jealous, lucky those girls are, 'cause only a few boys know, how to be loyal!"

And in a couple of minutes, she sends back to me, what she calls a "modified version" of it, something that goes like, "blah blah blah.... when guys get jealous of every other guy, those girls are the unluckiest ones, 'cause these are the guys who don't trust their girls."

Umm... however childish her reply might sound, but, well, I must admit, it does make sense to me, or if I'm allowed to assume, it makes sense to all girls like PG and me.

It reminds me of a very famous quote by La Rochefoucauld. On jealousy, he says, "In jealousy there is more self-love than love."

But then, as I try to contemplate, I imbibe this feeling that jealousy doesn't essentially deal with self-love, but, the lack of it! Don't you think a person who's most likely to get jealous, is the one who doesn't quite hold himself in high esteem, and believes that he's not loved!

I believe that it is this lack of self-love, that leads to insecurity. And, insecurity, in turn, makes that person jealous.

Jealousy, in the very initial stages, is often mis-interpreted. Girls often preen and blush when their guys tell them about how uneasy they feel when their 'lady' is kind of surrounded by other guys! It's very foolish, on part of these girls, who sort of derive immense pleasure from it, initially, and then, start complaining, later on!

The consequences are rather severe. I have seen my friends breaking up with their boyfriends, because of jealousy. Jealousy weakens the very foundation of a healthy relationship.

Dudes, its the 21st century, and you're living in a metropolitan, for heaven's sake, grow up! Give these girls some space. Just being in a relationship with them, doesn't give you the sole right to be with them! Just let these girls be! They love you. They are loyal to you, trust me! They belong with you. They gonna be there with you and for you, at the end of the day! But, you need to love yourself and have faith in yourself, too!

ps: I so wish that PG and her ex read this, :p

being jealous is something and cheating is another.. we don't trust our girl to roam with other boys only because we know boys too well and they have a tendency to get the wrong signal.. like
A loves B and vice versa..

B and C are bff

C realizes that he loves B and one day he forces himself to her..

now two things happen..

B slaps c or B sleeps with C...

first one is bad for B so A won't like B to experience that.. and the second one is devastating for B... because this may be B's first time but C won't make it the last.. so see we have trouble to give space to girlfrnds...and most of the time girls know that boys will be boys and they will be jealous...
